Orenburg mayor reports UAVs over SEZ; Ozon warehouse incident

Orenburg’s mayor said several UAVs were shot down over the SEZ in the early hours of 23 Aug 2026 and that debris started a fire at the Ozon warehouse that EMERCOM put out, with no casualties; Ozon separately said it evacuated more than 300 staff and suspended that site. Intercepts and debris-as-cause are not independently confirmed. Ukraine attribution remains unconfirmed.
